Republic Act of Legal Education

Legal education in the Philippines was first introduced during the Spanish occupation, when the University of Santo Tomas founded the Faculty of Civil Law in 1734. [2] After the ratification of the Constitution of Malolos, the Universidad Literaria de Filipinas was founded in 1899 by Joaquin Gonzalez; The said institution offers several courses, including law.
